Thank you for taking the time to consider applying for one of the Ministry of Education teaching positions. As stated earlier, Educational Consortium Institute (ECI) is the only non-profit contracted by EPIK, a division of the Korean Ministry of Education, to recruit teachers for their program. ECI does not charge any handling or placement fees to teacher applicants or selected teachers, but we do provide you with services that no other recruiting agency will provide you. ECI (formerly English Teachers Abroad) has been hiring teachers since 1989. We have hired only the best candidates for each position. We will continue this same tradition of hiring the best qualified teachers and supporting those teachers throughout their contract.

We provide:

• A network of teachers to share ideas and strategies with.
• Opportunities for TESOL training both before and after your assignment in Korea.
• Opportunities to bring your students to our English language program in California. Our campus is located right on the beach between Santa Cruz and Monterey, California.
• An advocate for you in the event of any problem with your contract.
