American Culture and English Camp

Educational Consortium Institute (ECI) is happy to offer international students an opportunity to learn about American culture and visit many of California’s most spectacular landmarks. Students interact with American teens every day and learn about American culture and share their own culture with American teens. ECI operates a summer camp in Northern California and a winter camp in San Diego of Southern California. Students have an opportunity to visit San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Stanford University, Disneyland, Universal Studios, San Diego Zoo and much, much more.

Students have 12 hours of conversation instruction per week and communication practice with American teens each day. They have a dormitory stay with 18 meals per week. For information contact ECI at info@eci-ca.org.

In the summer of 2009, ECI will offer a two-week American Culture and Conversation Camp for those students who want to learn about American culture and visit many of California’s most spectacular areas. The camp will take place from July 19 to July 31, 2009. Students are always accompanied on activities by ECI administrative staff and American teens that have a genuine interest in other cultures and want to share their culture with international teens. Students will visit:

• San Francisco, one of the most visited cities in the world. Includes:
  • Golden Gate Bridge
  • Twin Peaks
  • Union Square
  • Pier 39
  • Dinner with views of the ocean
• Paramount’s Great America
• Stanford University
• San Jose Technology Museum
• Monterey Bay Aquarium
• Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
• Shopping at the Gilroy Outlets
• Raging Waters Amusement Park
