ECI is about 80 miles (120 kilometers) from San Francisco, and about 40 miles (60 kilometers) from San Jose, also known as Silicon Valley. Both cities have international airports.

toll free number: 1-866-283-9090 for secondary school students.   This telephone number will be in operation 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The toll free number can be used by both host families and exchange students to report circumstances impacting the students’ health, safety and well being during their exchange visitor programs. This is an added measure to the established communication and response protocols of sponsors.
